В 19 – нач. 20 в. – в Псковской губ.В 1926 в Л. проживало 368 евреев, в 1939 – 193 еврея.В 1920-х гг. в Л. действовал подпольный хедер. Материальную помощь в стр-ве миквы оказал Й.-И.Шнеерсон.В сент. 1941 после оккупации частями вермахта в Л. в частном доме было создано гетто. В февр. 1942 было расстреляно ок. 50 евреев.После 1945 на месте расстрела установлена стела. @ru

Schneerson bereitgestellt. 1941, nach der Besetzung durch Wehrmachtseinheiten in Leningrad, wurde in einem Privathaus ein Ghetto errichtet. Am Feb. 1942 wurde ca. erschossen. 50 Juden. Nach 1945 wurde am Hinrichtungsort eine Stele installiert. @de
