ЛИТИНСКИЙ Генрих Ильич (1901, Липовец Киевской губ. – 1985, Москва), композитор, музыковед, педагог. В 1928 окончил Моск. конс. по кл. комп. у Р.М.Глиэра. В 1928–43 преподавал в Моск. конс. теорию музыки и полифонию (с 1933 проф., в 1932–37 и 1939–43 зав. кафедрой композиции и декан комп. ф-та). В 1944–47 рук. консультацион. центра при оргк-те Союза сов. композиторов СССР. С 1947 проф. Муз.-пед. ин-та им. Гнесиных по кл. комп. и полифонии. Одноврем. (1949–64) преподавал эти же предметы в Казанской конс. Л. сыграл большую роль в воспитании нац. кадров композиторов. Среди его учеников А.Г.Арутюнов, А.А.Бабаджанян, Н.Г.Жиганов, Э.М.Мирзоян, А.П.Кереселидзе, Ч.Нурымов, Ф.З.Яруллин и др. Л. – один из создателей профессион. музыки якутского народа. По муз.-фольклорным материалам М.Н.Жиркова и в содружестве с ним создал первые якутские нац. муз.-сценич. произв. – оп. «Олонхо» (1947), бал. «Сир Смиэгэ» («Полевой цветок», 1947).
