ЛЕЙТЕС Лев Семенович (р. 1927, Днепропетровск), инженер, специалист в области эксплуатации оборудования телецентров. Брат Н.С.Лейтеса. После окончания в 1949 Моск. электротехн. ин-т связи работает на телецентре в Москве. С 1950 – нач. передвижной ТВ станции (ПТС); осуществлял техн. руководство ведением первых в стране трансляций по телевидению футбольных матчей со стадиона «Динамо», спектаклей из Большого театра, в т. ч. с применением инфракрасной подсветки самых темных сцен (1951), показа впервые по телевидению видимой части поверхности Луны с большим увеличением через телескоп Гос. астрономич. ин-та им. П.К.Штернберга (1963). С 1962 – первый нач. отд. ПТС телецентра. В 1967 участвовал в создании Центра передвижных техн. средств ТВ, назначен гл. инж. Центра. В 1970–83 нач. службы технол. инж. обеспечения, затем нач. ремонтной службы телецентра. С 1983 – гл. специалист телецентра.
