- ЛЕВИН Гершон (1868, Люблин – 1939), врач, писатель. Окончил мед. ф-т Варшавского ун-та. Писал для газ. «Га-Цефира», «Га-Цофе» (на иврите) и «Гайнт» (на идише). С 1895 – в Варшаве, участвовал в еврейской обществ. жизни и входил в руководство Варшавского культурн. объединения «Га-Шомер», Еврейского культурн. об-ва, Т-ва охраны здоровья. Участник рус.-япон. и 1-й мир. войн, воен. врач. Автор восп. о И.-Л.Переце (1919), «На мировой войне» (1923), «В добрые старые времена» (1925) о Шолом-Алейхеме (1926), в 1937 написал «Книгу моей жизни» (все на идише).
