ЛЕВИН Арон Вульфович (1905, Двинск Витебской губ. – 1974, Ленинград), инженер-энергетик, специалист в области турбостроения. Д-р техн. наук (1961), проф. (1962). Окончил в 1929 физ.-матем. ф-т Ленингр. ун-та, в 1931 энергомаш-строит. ф-т Всес. котлотурбинного ин-та в Ленинграде. В 1931–74 – на Ленингр. Металлич. з-де, где в 1944–69 возглавлял отд. расчета КБ паровых турбин. Одноврем. преподавал на заводе-втузе при Металлич. з-де.Осн. работы связаны с иссл. прочности и вибрации лопаток и дисков турбин. Предложил новые методы расчета лопаток и дисков, руководил расчетом лопаток последних ступеней турбин выпуска 1936–41, отличавшихся высокой надежностью. В 1941–45 под рук. Л. в КБ созданы проекты серии турбин высокого давления. В 1950-е гг. осуществлены тепловые и прочностные расчеты всех выпускавшихся з-дом турбин, в т. ч. турбины К–200–130, а также проектирование турбины на 1200 мВт. Стал. пр. (1948). Лен. пр.
