ЛЕПЛЕВСКИЙ Григорий Моисеевич (Гирша Мовшевич) (1889, Брест-Литовск Гродненской губ. –1939), государственный деятель. Брат И.М.Леплевского. Учился в хедере, затем в 4-клас-сном гор. уч-ще. С 1902 – чл. Бунда. В дек. 1905 исключен из уч-ща за выступление на митинге. Продолжил учебу в частном коммерч. уч-ще. В 1915 окончил экон. отд-ние Киевского коммерч. ин-та. В 1908 вышел из Бунда из-за разногласий по орг. и нац. вопросам (противник идеи «культурной автономии»). Февр. рев-цию встретил в Гомеле, примкнул к большевикам, с мая 1917 – чл. Полесского к-та РСДРП(б), затем зам. пред. Исполкома Гомельского Совета рабочих и солд. деп., вел большевист. пропаганду среди солдат гомельского гарнизона. Дел. Всерос. демокр. совещания (сент. 1917) от Исполкома Советов Зап. фронта и обл. Дел. 2-го Всерос. съезда Советов. После Окт. рев-ции возглавил Гомельский ВРК и Совет. В нояб. 1917 избран деп. Всерос. Учредит, собрания от Могилевской губ. Дел. 3-го Всерос. съезда Советов. С марта 1918 – зам.. пред. губисполкома и гор. Совета в Самаре. С мая в Москве: чл. Коллегии и зав. орг.-инструкторским отд. НКВД РСФСР, и.о. зам. наркома. С – чл., затем пред. Малого Совнаркома РСФСР, с нач. 1923 – пред. адм.-финанс. комиссии Совнаркома СССР. В 1934–39 зам. ген. прокурора СССР.
