ЛАПИН Борис Матвеевич (1905, Москва – 1941), писатель. Зять И.Г.Эренбурга. Первый сб. стих. «Молниянин» опубл. в 1922. С сер. 1920-х гг. работал в геоботанич. эксп. в Ср. Азии, в пушной фактории на Чукотке, учеником штурмана на кораблях MOJ). флота. Одноврем. печатался в газ. Личные впечатления Л. легли в основу книг «Повесть о стране Памир» (1929), «Тихоокеанский дневник» (1929). С 1930-х гг. написал в соавт. с З.Л.Хацревиным «Америка граничит с нами» (1932), «Дальневосточные рассказы» (1935), «Путешествие» (1937). Участник сов.-япон. конфликта на Халхин-Голе (1939). Автор (совм. с Хацревиным и Л.И.Славиным сценария ф. «Его зовут Сухэ Батор». С июня 1941 – на фронте, корр. газ. «Красная Звезда». Погиб под Киевом.Соч.: Избранное. М., 1947; Избранное.
