КРОЛЛ Анатолий Ошерович (р. 1943, Челябинск), композитор, аранжировщик, дирижер, пианист. Окончил муз. уч-ще в Челябинске по кл. фп. В 1961–63 гл. дирижер и муз. рук. Гос. эстрадного орк. УзССР, в 1964–70 рук. биг-бэнда Тульской филармонии, в 1971–90 – моск. джаз-орк. «Современник». Одноврем., в 1980–88, ст. препод., худ. рук. заочного эстрадного отд-ния Муз.-пед. ин-та им. Гнесиных. Худ. рук. программ фестивалей Союза театр. деятелей России (1990–92). С 1992 К. создатель, гл. дирижер и худ. рук. «МКС биг-бэнда» – первого рос. джаз-орк., участвовавшего в 1994 в джазовом фестивале в Монтрё (Швейцария) и удостоенного Сертификата «За выдающееся выступление на фестивале». К. систематизировал осн. принципы работы с джаз-орк., воспитал плеяду высокопрофес. джазменов. Автор музыки для джаз-орк. и к к/ф. Лауреат 1-го и единств. в СССР Междунар. джаз-фестиваля (1967, Таллин). Выпущено 12 грампластинок и 3 лазерных диска с произв. К. в исполнении орк. под рук. К.
