КРАСИНСКИЙ Георгий Давидович (1890, Велиж Витебской губ. – 1955, Москва), полярный исследователь. С 1904 после окончания нач. уч-ща – ученик в переплетной мастерской. Участвовал в рев. движения, чл. Бунда. В 1906 арестован за распространение листовок, сослан в Сибирь на 4 года, из ссылки бежал. В 1912 при содействии ст. брата уехал в Англию. В 1913 вернулся в Россию, после Окт. рев. работал в Центросоюзе; в 1919 командирован в Зап. Европу. В 1920–21 нач. снабжения Политупр. РВС Респ. С 1921 в Наркомате РКИ, затем особый уполномоченный по Сев. мор. пути. Летом 1922 участвовал в 1-м мор. походе из Петрограда в устье Енисея Сев. мор. путем. В 1923 провел первый дальний мор. рейс из Петрограда во Владивосток. В 1926 возглавил Дальневост. эксп. на пароходе «Ставрополь». В 1927 участвовал в проведении 1-го мор. рейса грузовых судов из Владивостока в устье Лены и в перелете от бухты Тикси до Иркутска (в составе экипажа самолета О.А.Кольвица). В 1928 по заданию ОСОАВИАХИМа организовал трансарктич. перелет из Владивостока до мыса Дежнева и далее вдоль всего побережья Сев. Ледовитого океана. В 1929 организовал разведыват. полеты по Сев. побережью от мыса Дежнева до устья Лены с заходом на о.Врангеля. В 1930 входил в состав иссл. группы Совторгфлота по обследованию порта Игарки с целью его реконструкции. В 1932–37 уполномоченный Главсевморпути в Северо-Вост. секторе Арктики. В 1937 арестован по обвинению во вредительстве. До 1941 работал в Главсевморпути, затем вышел на пенсию, занимался вопросами истории Севера и Сибири. Награжден орд. Кр.
