С 1961 работает в Ин-те хим. физики АН СССР (с 1992 – гл. науч. сотр.).Обл. науч. интересов – хим. физика и физика тв. тела. Предсказал эффект динамич. охлаждения ядерной спиновой системы. Разработал микроскопич. теорию миграции частиц по поверхности кристаллов, систему неадиабатич. эффектов в туннелировании электронов и тяж. частиц. Разработал корректный метод расчета асимптотик многоэлектронных волновых функций. Автор ок. 100 науч. работ.
