КОГАН-ЯСНЫЙ Виктор Моисеевич (1889, Полтава – 1958, Харьков), терапевт. Д-р медицины (1924), проф. (1930). Окончил мед. ф-т Харьковского ун-та (1913), затем служил врачом в действующей армии (1914–17). С 1918 ординатор факультетской терапевтич. клиники Харьковского мед. ин-та, с 1921 ассистент, с 1925 доц. той же клиники. Впервые в СССР (1923) получил инсулин и применил его в клинич. практике. С 1930 на кафедре общей терапии Харьковского мед. ин-та, затем зав. кафедрами факультетской и госпитальной терапии там же. С В.Я.Данилевским в 1919 основал Органотерапевтич. ин-т (ныне Украинский ин-т эндокринологии). В 1930 организовал и возглавил первую в СССР эндокринологич. клинику.Осн. науч. работы посв. изучению заболеваний эндокринных желез (сахарный диабет, базедова болезнь), гипертонич. и язвенной болезней, воспаления легких, иссл. нарушений обмена веществ.
