КОБРИНСКИЙ Арон Ефимович (1915, Волковыск Гродненской губ. – 1992, Лос-Анджелес), специалист в области точной механики. Д-р техн. наук (1965), проф. (1966). Брат Н.Е.Кобринского. Окончил в 1939 МАИ. В 1939–46 инж.-конструктор, ведущий инж. опытного КБ и лаб. пр-тий авиац. пром-сти. С 1946 – в Ин-те маш-ведения АН СССР. С 1989 – в США. В 1949 совм. с М.Г.Брейдо предложил, разработал и в дальнейшем внедрил в произ-во числовое программное управление станками. Участвовал в создании и внедрении в пром-сть элементов и систем дискретного привода с шаговыми двигателями. Проводил иссл. в обл. биомеханики и механизмов регуляции движения человека, один из создателей протеза предплечья с биоэлектрическим управлением. Автор многочисл. ст., монографий, науч.-попул. кн. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1939. In 1939–46 engineer-constructor, leading engineer. experienced design bureau and lab. pr-th aviation. prom-sti. Since 1946 - at the Institute of Engineering of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Since 1989 - in the USA. In 1949, joint. with M.G.Breido proposed, developed and subsequently introduced into production numerical programmed control of machine tools. Participated in the creation and implementation of elements and systems of a discrete drive with stepper motors in the industry. Conducted research. in the region. biomechanics and mechanisms of regulation of human movement, one of the creators of the forearm prosthesis with bioelectric control. The author is numerous.
