- КОБОШВИЛИ Шалом (1880, Ахалцихе Тифлисской губ. – 1943, Тбилиси), художник-примитивист. Способности к рисованию проявились с детства, худ. образования не получил. Работал на разных техн. должностях. С 1938 администратор Историко-этногр. музея евреев Грузии. Живопись К., к-рой были украшены почти все залы музея, привлекла внимание посетителей. Большинство работ К. экспонировалось на выставке «История и культура евреев Грузии» в музее «Дом диаспоры» в Тель-Авиве. Там же вышла кн. «История и культура евреев Грузии» (1992; на иврите и англ. яз.), иллюстрир. произв. К.

He worked on different tech. positions. Since 1938, the administrator of the Historical and Ethnogr. Museum of the Jews of Georgia. K.'s painting, a cut were decorated with almost all the halls of the museum, attracted the attention of visitors. Most of K.'s works were exhibited at the exhibition "History and Culture of the Jews of Georgia" in the Museum "House of Diaspora" in Tel Aviv. The book was published there.
