ХАФЕЦ ХАИМ (Пупко Исроэль-Меир) (1838, Дятлово Слонимского у. Гродненской губ. – 1933, Радун, Польша), раввин. Учился в иешиве в Вильне. В 1868–69 возглавлял иешиву в Василишках (окр. Вильны). В 1869 создал и возглавил иешиву в Радуне Гродненской губ. Один из основателей партии «Агудас Исроэль» в Польше. Авторитет в обл. религ. этики. Автор ряда кн. по регламентируемой этике иудаизма, в т. ч. «Хафец Хаим» («Жизнеописание», 1873). Сочувствуя движению «Ховевей Цион», отказался от поддержки сионизма. Имя Х.Х. носит религ. кибуц на юге Израиля. @ru
