КАЦНЕЛЬСОН Лев Абрамович (р. 1921, Саратов), офтальмолог. Окончил 2-й ММИ (1942). В 1941–45 служил в Кр. Армии. С 1946 в НИИ глазных болезней им. Г.Гельмгольца (проф., рук. отдела патологии сетчатки глаза).Науч. тр. К. посв. дистрофич., наследств. сосудистым и воспалит. заболеваниям сетчатки глаза, диабетич. ретинопатии. Разработал (1964) метод реоофтальмографии, широко применяемый в клинич. и эксперим. иссл. циркуляции крови в сосудистой системе глаза. Предложил также методы лечения наследств. пигментного ретинита (комплексом рибонуклеотидов – препаратом «ЭНКАД») и тромбозов вен сетчатки (тромболитич. препаратом плазминогеном).Соч.: Реография глаза. Helmholtz (Prof., Leiter der Abteilung für Pathologie der Netzhaut). tr. K. gewidmet dystrophisch., Vererbung. vaskulär und entzündet. Erkrankungen der Netzhaut, Diabetiker. Retinopathie. Entwickelte (1964) eine Methode der Rheoophthalmographie, die in Kliniken weit verbreitet ist. und experimentieren. Forschung Durchblutung im Gefäßsystem des Auges. Er schlug auch Methoden zur Behandlung der Vererbung vor.
