ГУТМАН Моише (Каменштейн Моисей Львович) (1883, Вепер Вилькомирского у. Ковенской губ. – 1938), публицист. Юношей приехал в Вильну, сдал экстерном за курс г-зии, затем окончил школу провизоров. В нач. 20 в. и в годы 1-й рус. рев-ции активно участвовал в рабочем движении, 15 раз арестовывался, трижды был судим. После ареста в 1910 жил в Лодзи и Варшаве, был инициатором евр. школьного образования, участвовал в работе проф. евр. учителей. Сидел в тюрьмах, затем жил в Пинске, Гомеле, Минске. В годы 1-й мир. войны работал в орг-циях помощи евр. беженцам. В 1917 был преде, к-та по орг-ции рабочего Совета в Одессе, представителем партии Фарейникте на 3-й Всерос. конф. в Петрограде. В том же году был избран в Предпарламент Керенского, входил в состав укр. Центр. Рады. С дек. 1918 до нач. 1925 жил в Варшаве, был акт. деятелем в проф. движении и в культурной работе, преде, комиссии по реформированию евр. орфографии. В кон. 1926 переехал в Москву. В 1927 переселился в Харьков, был преде. «Гезкульта», а с 1932 – полит. ред. Укрнацмениздата. Все эти годы занимался лит.-публицистич. деятельностью, выпускал кн. и брошюры по вопросам Сов. стр-ва, печатал ст. в период, печати. Die Revolution beteiligte sich aktiv an der Arbeiterbewegung, wurde 15 Mal festgenommen und dreimal vor Gericht gestellt. Nach seiner Verhaftung im Jahr 1910 lebte er in Lodz und Warschau, war der Initiator des Hebräischen. schulausbildung, beteiligte sich an der arbeit von prof. Heb. Lehrer.
