ГУРВИЧ Осип Яковлевич (1842, имение Каменный Луг Виленской губ. – |), педагог, публицист. Окончил Виленское раввинское уч-ще, с 1860 учитель рус. яз. в Минском евр. уч-ще, затем – смотритель евр. уч-ща в г. Вилейка, занимался просвет, деятельностью среди местных хасидов, печатался в ж. «Гакармель», «Виленском вестнике». В дальнейшем был раввином в Гродно. С 1881 – ученый еврей при минском губернаторе и законоучитель в казенных уч. заведениях. В 1880-х гг. под пс. Бен – Якоб печатался в ж. «Рассвет» и «Рус. еврей».
