ГУРЕВИЧ Эммануил Львович (1866–1952), полит. деятель. В рев. движении с 1883, народоволец, позднее – с.-д. Живя в Париже, был близок к сто-роникам Ж.Геда (гедисты). В 1900 пред. рус. делегации на Междунар. социалистич. конгрессе 2-го Интернационала в Париже; вместе с Д.Б.Рязановым и Ю.М.Стекловым выступал сторонником объединения орг-ций «Искры» и «Рабочего дела», один из основателей антиискровской с.-д. гр. «Борьба». После 2-го съезда РСДРП (1903) меньшевик. Чл. ред. Центр, органа меньшевиков «Начало» (1905), участник конференции меньшевиков в Петербурге (нояб. 1905), представитель меныневист. фракции на конференции большевиков в Таммерфорсе (дек. 1905). В годы реакции – «ликвидатор», сотрудничал (1907–09) в либер. газ. «Товарищ», один из создателей и ведущий сотр. ликвидаторского ж. «Наша заря». Участвовал в работе с.-д. фракции 3-й Гос. думы, что послужило поводом для ареста (1911) и высылки из Петербурга. В годы 1-й мир. войны – «оборонец». В 1917–18 ред. газ. правого крыла кооператоров «Власть народа». Впоследствии от полит, деятельности отошел. В 1920 управлял архивом быв.
