По окончании (1953) работал в Уральском пед. ин-те (1953–57) преподавателем и зав. кафедрой физики. Участвовал в созд. Ин-та ядерной физики Казах. ССР в Алма-Ате (1957–69), работал ст. науч. сотр. теоретич. отд. 1970—93 – проф., зав. кафедрой физики Донецкого ун-та. С 1993 – проф., зав. отд. теоретич. физики Слупского пед. ун-та (Польша).Осн. работы посв. единой теории элементарных частиц, теории взаимодействий при высоких энергиях, прецезионной теории строения атома водорода, классификации точно решаемых задач в квантовой механике и эл.-динамике.
