Работал в Смоленском драм, т-ре, в 1961–64 в Большом драм. т-ре им. М.Горького в Ленинграде. С 1964 реж. к/ст. «Ленфильм».Дебютировал ф. «Седьмой спутник» (1965, совм. с Г.Л.Ароновым).
