ГАНЕЛИН Вячеслав Шевелевич (р. 1944, Красково Моск. обл.), джазовый пианист и композитор. В 1968 окончил конс. (Вильнюс) по классу композиции А.Рачюнаса. Работал заведующим муз. частью Рус. драм. т-ра в Вильнюсе. С 1961 играл в разл. танц. ансамблях, с 1964 – в джазовом трио, с 1971 под назв. «ГТЧ». Трио много гастролировало в СССР, ФРГ, Финляндии, Югославии, Англии и США, на Кубе, стало лауреатом неск. джазовых фестивалей, в т. ч. «Джазиатра» в Индии (1986) и фестиваля корпорации JVC в Нью-Йорке, а также записало много пластинок. С 1987 Г. в Израиле. Выступал в джазовом трио, записал два компакт-диска: «Иерусалим. Февраль. Кантабиле» и «Опусы». Г. преподает в Иерусалимской Академии имени Рубина джазовое сольфеджио, в Тель-Авиве – компьютерную композицию.В композиторском творчестве, отличающемся широтой и разнообразием, обращается к разл. культурам – от античной музыки до эскимосских попевок.
