ФРИЗЕР Яков Давидович (1869, Баргузин Забайкальской обл. – 1932, Харбин), предприниматель. Род. в семье владельца золотых приисков. Получил домашнее образование. С 1883 работал служащим на семейных приисках. Занимался организацией поисковых работ. В 1898 Ф. были открыты и начаты разработки т. н. Королонских приисков, где добывалось до 40 пудов золота в год. С нач. 20 в. жил в Иркутске. Инициатор создания Иркутской биржи. Организатор поисковых работ в ряде р-нов Вост. Сибири. Инициатор открытия первой обществ. б-ки в Баргузине (1888) и стр-ва гор. уч-ща. Владел пароходством на р. Лене. Занимался торговлей керосином и смазочными материалами. Построил первую в Иркутске мельницу производительностью 2000 пудов крупчатки в день.
