ФИНКЕЛЬ Шимон (Семен Григорьевич) (1905, Гродна – 1999, Тель-Авив), актер, режиссер. Д-р философии (1989). С 15 лет выступал в еврейской любительской труппе. В 1922 поступил в Берлине в Драм. школу М. Рейнхардта. С 1924 – в Э.-И. В 1927–31 – в труппе «Габимы», гастролировавшей в разн. странах. Вместе с труппой вернулся в Э.-И. Первые роли в этом т-ре: Жених и Цадик («Гадибук» С.Ан-ского), Марал («Голем» Г.Лейвика) и др. В 1930 участвовал совм. с М.А.Чеховым в постановке пьесы «Двенадцатая ночь» У.Шекспира, где исполнил роль Орсино. В 1960–61 и 1970–75 худ. рук. «Габимы».
