ЕРУСАЛИМСКИЙ Аркадий Самсонович (1901, Старый Быхов Могилевской губ. – 1965, Москва), историк, д-р ист. наук (1938). Из купеч. семьи. В 1919–21 учился на ист. отд. ф-та обществ, наук Самаркандского ун-та. С 1921 в Москве. Окончил обществ.-пед. отд. ф-та обществ, наук 1-го МГУ (1923). Учился в аспирантуре Ин-та истории РАНИОН. В 1924 – нач. 1925 в науч. командировке в Берлине и в Париже, занимался изучением междунар. отношений Германии во 2-й пол. 19 в. В 1925–41 – ст. науч. сотр. Ин-та мирового х-ва и мировой политики АН СССР, проф. Ин-та красной просрессуры (1930–32), МИФЛИ (1932–39), Высшей дипл. школы (1939–41), ист. ф-та МГУ (1944–56). В 1941–45 нач. иностр. отд. газ. «Кр. Звезда», будучи на фронте посетил концлагерь Майданек (Польша), присутствовал в Карлсхорсте 8.5.1945 при подписании акта о безоговорочной капитуляции Германии. Ст. науч. сотр. Ин-та истории АН СССР. В 1956 62 возглавлял Комиссию историков СССР – ГДР, с 1956 ч.-к. Герм. АН в Берлине, чл. сов. делегации на заседании ЮНЕСКО в Нью-Дели (1956), участвовал в работе «круглого стола» по вопросам укрепления мира и разоружения в Варшаве (1961). Во время подготовки процесса по «делу врачей» (1952) одним из немногих отказался подписать «покаянное письмо» евр. интеллигенции И.В.Сталину.Е. – специалист по истории Германии и междунар. отношениям в новое время.
