ЭПЕЛЬБАУМ Абрам Лазаревич (1878, Полтавская губ. – ?), политический деятель. С 1903 чл. СЕРП, участник парт. конф. в Вене, вел парт. работу в Екатеринославе, Ростове-на-Дону и в Крыму. По окончании экон. отд. Киевского коммерч. ин-та (1913) служил в Об-ве взаимного страхования жизни, затем – зав. канцелярией Об-ва фабрикантов и заводчиков (Екатеринослав). После Февр. рев-ции 1917 возглавлял губ. к-т Объединенной еврейской социалистич. раб. партии (ОЕСРП), с 1918 уполномоченный ее ЦК в Житомире и Киеве, одноврем. в 1919 чл. коллегии коммунального отд. Киевского губисполкома. С 1919 чл. ЦК ОЕСРП на Украине и пред. ее Екатеринославского губ. к-та, одноврем. в 1920–21 зав. отд. губсовнархоза, управляющий делами и чл. коллегии губ. комиссариата труда. С 1920 канд. в чл. ЦК ОЕСРП, после ее объединения с Бундом – канд. в чл. ЦК, затем чл. ЦК Комбунда и пред. его Екатеринославского губкома.
