Херсонской губ.В 1897 в Д. проживало 903 еврея (78,8%), в 1923 — 889, в 1939 — 369 евреев.В период герм. оккупации в Д. был создан лагерь. Начиная с осени 1941 в Д. депортировали евреев из Одессы, Кишинева и др. нас. пунктов. В янв. — февр. 1942 в Д. было уничтожено ок. 18 тыс. заключенных. Всего за время герм. оккупации в Д. было уничтожено ок. 20 тыс. евреев. @ru
