- БРЮЛИН Иосиф Гиршевич (1910, Москва – 1976, там же), график. Учился на Центр. курсах Главпрофобра (студия АХР) (1920–30) у Б.В.Иогансона, И.И.Машкова, затем в МИИ (1939–42) у П.В.Митурича, Н.Э.Радлова. В 1941–43 жил в Самарканде, где создал целый ряд графических работ («Самарканд. Дерево», «Перед чайханой» и др.), а также пейзажи и портреты маслом. Преподавал в МВХПУ (быв. Строгановском уч-ще) (1947–54) на кафедре рис. С 1950-х гг. начал работать в технике офорта и литографии, пастелью и гуашью (серии офортов «Рига», акв. «Москва и москвичи» и др.). Оформил и илл. кн. для ряда моск. изд-в.
