Худ.-пост. почти сорока фильмов, среди которых «Город мастеров», «Король-олень», «Сталкер», «Спасатель», «Осень» и др. Оформил около шестидесяти спектаклей, в т. ч. «Пеппи Длинный чулок», «Недоросль», «Отдаленные страны света», «Отелло» и др. С 1983 Б. преподает живопись в Школе-студии МХАТа (ВУЗ) им. Вл.Немировича-Данченко. Пост, участник всес. и заруб. выставок, где экспонирует живописные работы и театральные эскизы. Первая персональная выставка в Москве в 1992.
