БЛИНКОВ Самуил Михайлович (р. 1904, Елисаветград Херсонской губ.), невролог. Окончил мед. ф-т Бакинского ун-та. С 1926 по 1930 ординатор клиник нервных болезней Бакинского и Пермского мед. ин-тов. С 1931 ассистент клиники нервных болезней Ин-та физиотерапии и ортопедии в Москве. С 1932 по 1952 науч. сотр., зав. морфологич., клинико-физиологич., клинич. отделами, зам. дир. по науч. работе в Ин-те мозга АМН СССР. С 1952 зав. лаб. нейрохирургич. анатомии и эксперимент. неврологии Ин-та нейрохирургии им. Н.Н.Бурденко.Б. установлены новые критерии оценки симметрии структур височной доли головного мозга, даны анатомич. обоснования хирургич. операций на ЦНС, открыты нек-рые свойства нервных центров, связи между кровоснабжением головного мозга и направлением роста опухолей больших полушарий и мозгового ствола, разработаны количеств, методы определения функц. состояния ЦНС путем измерения времени двигательной реакции на различные раздражители, методика подсчета капилляров в нервной ткани и др. Б. опубликовано более 270 науч. работ, в т. ч. 14 монографий, руководство по количеств. анатомии мозга (в соавт. с И.И.Глезером).Соч.: Особенности строения мозга человека.
