БЕРМАН Виктор Михайлович (1897, Минская губ. – 1969, Ленинград), микробиолог и эпидемиолог. Окончил Петрогр. ун-т (1918) и Военно-мед. академию (ВМА) (1924). Работал эпидемиологом в войск, учреждениях Кр. Армии. С 1929 на каф. микробиологии ВМА, в 1936 там же создал кафедру эпидемиологии, к-рой руководил до 1949. Одновременно с 1934 заведовал организованной им каф. микробиологии в Ленингр. педиатрич. ин-те.Осн. тр. посвящены изучению возрастной иммунологии туберкулеза, патологии и эпидемиологии кишечных инфекций, барьерной функции лимфатич. системы и др. Разработал метод изучения заключительной фазы фагоцитарной реакции. Автор 1-го отеч. учебника по частной эпидемиологии. В 1937–49 – пред.
