В 1941—45 – во фронт. театре – в образе повара Галкина. В дальнейшем играл склонного к риторике Монтера, выступал в образах-масках Милиционера, Осветителя, Штепселя. Для героев Б. обычно были характерны черты резонерства. Шутки, миниатюры, интермедии Тимошенко и Б.
