БЕЛИЦКИЙ Абрам Александрович (1907, Скотоватое Бахмутского у. Екатеринославской губ. – 1960, Томск), геолог, специалист в обл. структурной геологии и тектонофизики. Д-р геолого-минералогич. наук, проф. с 1948. Окончил в 1931 Томский индустр. ин-т, в 1931–60 работал там же зав. кафедрой геологич. разведки, декан геологоразвед. ф-та.Осн. науч. работы в обл. структуры и тектоники угольных месторождений Кузбасса. Составил ряд геологич. карт угольных месторождений. Предложил геометрич. методы поиска тектонически смещенных угольных пластов («смещенного крыла»). Разработал теорию объединенно-напряж. состояния горн. пород и деформаций в земной коре. Автор науч. печатных работ и монографий, в т. ч. пер. на др. яз.
