In 1915 a pogrom took place in Byelorussia, organized by the Cossack units of the Russian. army; the female part of the Jewish population left B., having learned about the approach of the Cossacks. 2 Oct. 1941, 270 Jews were shot in Byelorussia, October 16. 1941 - 23 Jews. @en
