БАШКИРОВ Дмитрий Александрович (р. 1931, Тифлис), пианист, педагог. Окончил Тбилисскую муз. школу-десятилетку по классу А.Д.Вирсаладзе, в 1954 – Моск. конс. по классу А.Б.Гольденвейзера, в 1957 – аспирантуру у него же. С того же года преподает в Моск. конс. с 1977 – проф. С 1992 преподает фп. игру в Испании. Среди учеников – Д.К.Алексеев, С.А.Ерохин, А.З.Бондурянский и др.Б. много гастролировал в разных странах (в 80-х гг. его не выпускали из страны), концертировал в СССР. Интерпретации Б. отличают экстатич. взволнованность, импульсивность, подчас утрированность образов, точность мастерства; обладает своеобразным туше, благодаря к-рому выявляет мельчайшие нюансы произв. В репертуаре – произв. В.А.Моцарта, Л.Бетховена, Ф.Шуберта, Р.Шумана, И.Брамса, С.С.Прокофьева, Р.К.Щедрина. В 90-е гг. стал больше исполнять соч. Ф.Шопена. Наиболее удачны трактовки Концерта фа минор И.С.Баха, сонат И.Гайдна, фп. концертов Моцарта, 1, 3 и 5-го концертов Бетховена, выступал и как ансамблист, – в т. ч. в фп. трио с И.С.Безродным и М.Э.Хомицером (1965–1972).
