АРОНЧИК Айзик Борисович (Ицхок-Айзик Берович) (1858, Житомир | – 1889, Шлиссельбург), революционер-народоволец. Окончил Кременчугское реальное уч-ще (1877) и дополнит. класс Одесского реального уч-ща (1878). В 1878 поступил в Ин-т инженеров путей сообщения в Петербурге, сблизился с народнич. кружками. В 1879 оставил ин-т и целиком посвятил себя рев. деятельности. С мая 1879 чл. террорист, группы «Свобода или смерть». С осени 1879 – агент Исполнит, к-та рев. орг-ции «Народная воля», участвовал в подготовке ряда покушений на имп. Александра II. Арестован в Петербурге в ночь на 18.3.1881. На «процессе 20-ти» (1882) приговорен к вечной каторге. С марта 1882 содержался в одиночной камере Алексеевского равелина Петропавловской крепости.
