has abstract: АППЕЛЬ Иегуда Лейб (1857, Векшни Шавельского у. Ковенской губ. – 1934), деятель сионистского движения, издатель. 25 лет служил секретарем отд. «Ховевей Цион» в Вильне. Там же был и секретарем отд. об-ва «Бней Мойше». В 1902 А. и Ш.Гребер основали изд-во, к-рое публиковало сионистскую периодику и пропагандистскую лит-ру. С 1921 в Э.-И., стал секретарем Исаака Лейба Гольдберга и управляющим его имения. Автор мемуаров о разл. периодах истории «Хиббат Циона» и сионизма в России, к-рые были опубл. в кн. «Б’тох решит га-тхия» («В начале возрождения», 1936). Умер в Э.-И. @ru

Ab 1921 in E.-I. wurde der Sekretär von Isaac Leib Goldberg und der Manager seines Nachlasses. Der Autor der Memoiren über Zersetzung.
