- АБРАМСОН Шрага (р. 1915, Цехановец Гродненской губ.), раввин. В 1936 получил звание раввина в Ломже и в том же году переехал в Э.-Й. В 1950 окончил Евр. ун-т в Иерусалиме. В 1952–58 – проф. Евр. теологич. семинарии (Нью-Йорк), с 1958 – Евр. ун-та. Чл. Академии иврита, был ее вице-през. и ред. ж. «Лашонейну» (1970–80). Гос. пр. Израиля (иудаистика) в 1974 за исследование раввинской лит-ры эпохи Талмуда и периода гаонов и их яз., ср.-век. библейской экзегезы, поэзии и прозы средневековья на иврите, ср.-век. филологии яз. иврита.
