Затем в обсерватории Пулково. Среди его науч. работ – «Сборник алгебраических задач» (Рига, 1887) и «О падающих звездах»; последняя была принята Моск. ун-том в качестве пособия для юных астрономов. Работа «О движении метеоритных потоков» была опубликована в 1898 Имп. рус. астрономич. об-вом Петербурга. А. является автором мн. ст. по астрономии на рус. и нем. яз.
