- בספר חלקים שלמים הכתובים ארמית - כשאיילה תוסיף את השדה "טקסטים חלקיים בשפה" - להוסף "ארמית".

- הספר נחשב לפלגיאט לסיפרו של לינדא, ברוך ראשית לימודים . ב המאסף תק"ן (רפ"ה-פר"ז) הופיעה רשימה חתומה על ידי "צ-בע" (לא ברור מי זה) שמאשימה את אופנהיים בגניבה ספרותית, וגם בטפשות ובבערות. בסוף הרשימה צרפו "המאספים" הצהרת תמיכה בטענותיו של המאשים ( המאסף תק"ן, רפח'). למעשה, אופנהיים העתיק רק קטעים בודדים מ ראשית לימודים . יש הקבלה בין דפים ו'-ח' ב עמוד השחר לבין דפים ב'-ה' ב ראשית לימודים , וגם כאן דילג אופנהיים על הקטע בו תומך לינדא במודל ההליוצנטרי.

- הרכב הספר: 1. הקדמה של משה זאללשין, תלמידו של אופנהיים, הכוללת דברי תשבוחות למוריהו, שיר הלל מליצי, וטקס תלמודי שרשם מפי המורה (מנחות דף ע"ב ע"ב, דפים ב'-ה'). 2. טקסט מליצי ללא חתימה (כנראה גם של משה זאללשין) 3. "הנץ החמה" (דפים ו'י') - הקדמה של אופנהיים על עניני אסטרונומיה. הוא יוצא כנגד התיאורה ההליוצנטרית וכנגד קופרניקוס, אך מקבל את התיאוריה המודרנית של מהירות האור (דף ז'). 4. 13 עיקרים של רבב"ח המובאים בארמית 5. פרשנות של אופנהיים על 13 היסודות הללו (דפים י' -מח' [1]) 6. דברי סיום מטעם המחבר (דף אחרון למטה).
