- רשימות הספרים הנזכרים מופיעות בתחילת הספר: "לוח ספרי לשון הקודש הנזכרים בספר הזה" ו"לוח של ספרי האומות הנזכרים בספר הזה". הרשימה השניה ארוכה מן הראשונה. כפי שציין פישמן, יהודי שקלוב, אחת המגמות המוצהרות של שולמן היתה להראות כי חשוב ואף לגיטימי להסתמך על הידע שצברו לא יהודים.
