- מדובר בקטע קצר, "מליצת הגבירים והשרים המפורסמים, הלא המה הפרנסים ומנהיגים דמדינות פרייסן". בדבריהם משבחים את המחבר כרב גדול, שידיו רב לו בים התלמוד ובפלפלא חריפתא, ומלבד זאת נתן ה' לו לשון למודים לשון מדברת צחות בטוב טעם ודעת ורוח המקום ורוח הבריות נוחה הימנו". דומה כי פתחו לפניו את ביתם, וקוראים לאחרים לעשות כמוהם ולתמוך בו. נטלי: 14.11.07 - להוסיף לרשימה את שמות המסכימים (הנמצאים עתה באצבע). לפי פישמן: Kerner resided in the Shklov district for nearly a decade, from 1786 to 1796, teaching and writing philological-exegetical notes on the Pentateuch. Was close to Nota Notkin (rich Jew, very influential) corresponded with Naftali Hirtz Wessely on questions of Hebrew language, and praised the latter's works profusely: "The Lord endowed him with extraordinary wisdom to interpret the Biblical text using his pure reason, according to the simple meaning. Elevated individuals such as him are indeed few." Upon completing an exegetical treatise on the first three verses of Leviticus 19, Kerner set out for Berlin, at Notkin's suggestion, and published his work there in the "Orientalische Buchdruckerei". FN 49, p. 153: זרע קדש, Berlin 1797, 16b, 19b, 23b-24a, 25b, 29b-30b (letter by Wessely to Kerner).
