- לספר שני שערים: שער ראשון בגרמנית, ולאחריו שער שני בעברית
- Contents table notes
- לפני ההקדמה מופיעה פתיחה מליצית שבה המחבר מתאר עצמו כחולם ומשורר על איש פטריוט בשם "פלוא". לאחריה מופיעה הקדמת המחבר שכתובה כמליצה: המחבר מקונן על מצב העברית הירוד, ובוחר לרומם אותה ולהשתמש בה כקינה למות פרידריך וילהלם. אח"כ מופיע מחזה שבו מתואר פלוא הפטריוט מהלל ומשבח את המלך פרידריך וילהלם, כמצביא מלחמה מחונן וכמלך רחום, וכך למנוע מן המוות, המופיע כדמות במחזה, לקחת אותו. בסופו של דבר המלך מת, ופלוא מספיד אותו מרה. לסיום הספר מופיעה חידה: "שלא להוציא הנייר חלק, אמרתי אציגה נא עמך חדה אחת...", עמ' [31-34].
