- in Rumänien geboren und aufgewachsen, schloss sich früh der zionistischen Jugendbewegung "Dror" an und emigrierte 1939 nach Palästina; 1942 schloss er sich freiwillig der Jüdischen Brigade in der Britischen Armee an, wurde zum Fallschirmjäger ausgebildet und im Kampf gegen die deutsche Besatzung in Rumänien eingesetzt; nach seiner Rückkehr nach Palästina/Israel wurde er Landwirt und lehrte seit 1952 am Seminar des Kibbuz Hameuchad; starb durch Absturz eines Flugzeuges über Kibbuz Maʿagan.
