All notes by Chaim Meiselman:notes This work is associated with the Kabbalistic (Lurianic) work of Nathan Spira, also with the title of Megaleh Amukot, which is specifically focused on a portion in Deuteronomy. This edition was the first printing of the work ranging on the order of the Torah. Edited, with a preface by Israel b. Zechariah Pineles of Levov; he is identified in the Haskamot as a descendant of Nathan Nata Spira. Haskamot of Zvi-Hirsch Berlin-Loewenstamm (also known as Reverend Hart Lyon, former Chief Rabbi of England), signed in Berlin on 13 Tamuz 1795; Zvi-Hersch Rosenes of Levov, signing 25 Av 1795; Mosheh Zvi-Hersch Maizeles of Zolkiew, signing 19 Av 1795; Alexander (Szender) Margolioth of Sataniv, signing 4 Tamuz 1795; then an introduction by Ephraim Zalman Margolioth of Brody. Title surrounded by quotations and lines of ornaments. With a dedication in German (employing Hebrew charachters) on the title to Francis II, Holy Roman Emporer (1768-1835). Curiously, the subsequent line reads that the printing was finished on 16 January 1795 (dating the Anno Domini with Hebrew charachters). references Friedberg, Beit Eked Sefarim, mem 501 : 1 (second count).- Place
