Thanks to Fabrizio Quaglia for the following information: "This signature belongs to a censor born in Alessandria, or native from some nearby towns in the diocese of Alessandria, that always signed his expurgations in Latin as “fr. Paulus vicecomes Alexandrinus” (with possible variants “Alexandriae” and “Alexandris”) or simply “fr. Paulus vicecomes” but here he wrote in Italian “fra Paolo Visconte”, specifying that he censored this text according to the instruction of a Reverend Father in Turin (namely Bartolomeo Rocca de Pralormo: I saw his signature on other material expurgated by friar Paolo). In fact, Paolo Visconte “took care” of many Hebrew books and mss. in Turin, as well as in Vercelli, at the end of XVI century. He probably belonged to the convent of St. Augustine in Alessandria."- Percent complete
