"TU Rare Book Collection copy: Inscribed on l. 188 v. in the margin with highly-organized script; on 10/26/2018, Chaim Meiselman viewed samples of verified correspondence, and verified that it was similar to the point of accuracy that this is of the last rector of the Volozhin Yeshivah, R. Naftali Zvi-Yehuda Berlin (1816-1893). The writing is a rebuttal of a claim by the author saying that Shlomo ben Avraham ibn Aderet (1235-1310), one of the most eminent of the latter-medieval rabbinic scholars (Rishonim) never heard of the Perush ha-Mishnah, or Commentary on the Mishnah, by Maimonides.
