This copy of Masekhet Shevuot, printed by Emanuel Benveniste (Amsterdam 1645) is bound together with Makkot, Sanhedrin (Amsterdam 1645) and Horayot and Eduyot (1646). The binding is also the same as volumes 1-20 and the signature on the title page of Makkot is the same as the rest of the volumes in this set, found in exactly the same place on the title page, right above the insignia. When this person owned this Talmud, they placed their name only on the first tractate of the now-bound volume--which is Makkot; the other tractates have no signatures. Also note that Shevuot was printed along with Avot Derabi Natan, and the minor tractates, Masekhet Sofrim, Semachot, Kallah, Derekh Eretz, all of which have no title pages. Having seen this in other volumes, it seems to me that it might have been a tradition to print a volume with these minor tractates linked to Shevuot. Can you help?
