- Notes
- Note that Yale's copy of Masekhet Makkot is bound together with tractates Sanhedrin, Shevu'ot, Horayot and Eduyot and Avot Derabi Natan. Avot Derabi Natan, however, does not seem to be an independent volume because it has no official title page like tractate Eduyot. The same is true for the minor tractates found here as well: Tractates Sofrim, Semachot, Kallah and Derekh Eretz. There is a bookplate marking them as belonging to Josephus Mona Lesser. His wife Alice Parker Lesser inherited them from her husband in 1902 and sold them to the bookdealer C.F. Libbie on June 11/12 1902.
