TU Rare Book Collection copy (vol. 2, Early Prophets): Complete; in relatively good condition. Mini-title (as typical of post-incunabula Hebrew volumes) is the opening leaf of text; copy may have had a previous leaf of slightly heavier ragpaper between mini-title and binding, which was sliced and used to cover missing parts of the mini title; tape (and scribal writing on recto) indicate this repair was likely before 1800. If the pasted elements were drawn from the current volume's original endpaper, it was bound in limp vellum, as evidenced by marks of bleeding from saturation and acid-darkening from this material. - Evidence of thumbing on the folios on the outside corner; an abrasion likely from a spike runs through the middle folios on the bottom half of the tips. - During rebinding, a end-paper was inserted into the rear of the volume; the JCR plate was re-pasted onto the inside of the opening board. Rebound in buckram; appx. 1950 - 1960.- Owner
