- Notes
- “Jakob Merzbacher, 1812–1883 (stamp, Bibliotheca Merzbacheriana, Monacensis), other of whose Hebrew incunables were acquired by the city library of Frankfurt.” In fact, the entire collection of Abraham Merzbacher (1812–1885) was acquired for the Stadtbibliothek in 1903. Duplicates, including incunabula, were later sold off.
